Q1 UPDATE 2024 - JACK LEAR, FOUNDER
I want to introduce an element of transparency into our journey and share some of our plans for the future.
Where we've been
Since Jobalots was launched in late 2021 we have grown to support 20,000 buyers and sellers, operating from 28 different European countries. This milestone would would not have been possible without you entrusting us with your hard earned money and my team committing themselves to achieve our shared goals. Thank you to all!
This is only the very beginning for Jobalots and JLI (our parent company). We will be making many significant changes over the next few months, which will hopefully demonstrate that we are not a conventional company. We will continue to make calculated risks as we develop JLI and improve the services we offer. We want to be a catalyst for change within the re-commerce sector and empower our community to create successful and scalable businesses.
In October 2023 we opened a state-of-the-art facility in Newport, United Kingdom, which will allow us to continue scaling the JLI brand and support our buyers and sellers. This new warehouse has already began operating and fulfilling orders and will create an additional 100 jobs once it's fully operational. This compliments our existing warehouses in Pembroke Dock, United Kingdom and Wrocław, Poland, which both contributed in us achieving record volumes in January 2024.
Where we're going
JLI is operating well today, but there is still a long way to go. We need to improve many aspects of the business, streamline our operations and build a machine that continues to scale and can achieve incredible growth.
Currently I am most excited about:
• Launching a new and revamped Jobalots platform.
• Introducing a mobile app for Jobalots.
• Making JLI even better through seller tools.
• Supporting our community to help grow their businesses.
These are just a few of the plans we have in store, all of which have been created with the same goal - to help our customers grow their businesses.
